Spoilers Star Wars: Andor season 2

It borrows from a lot of movies like French connection etc
Ah! That explains why the Ghormans sound like they're speaking French (and dress like they're members of the French resistance)!

I don’t want to spoil anything but the tense scenes don’t have it unlike last season . I want to be on the edge of my seat on how will she/he get out of this
I thought the bit where Kleya was having trouble getting the listening device out of the relic was pretty tense!

I'm guessing in effect Saw will be the catalyst for Massacre pt2.
Yep, he definitely fits the bill of a rebel you can count on to do the wrong thing!

I couldn’t understand a word that Forrest Whitaker said. That whole subplot was lost on me. Maybe I should rewatch with subtitles on—but what was that machine?
I watch everything with subtitles on these days! It took me a while to figure it out, but I believe they were stealing rhydonium*, so that machine was a special device that allowed them to hack into the system and then suck up the gas into its containers.

*That highly volatile starship fuel that was being transported in those big tank things in that Mando episode where he had to show his face.

I missed the French connection link. Havent seen it and you know the French. I thought they were invoking the 1940s though in vibe kinda like Skeleton Crews 1980s ET vibe.

Other than the Saw Garerra bits, these three episodes were a step up from last week’s. I really enjoyed it.
They were stealing a highly toxic volatile starship fuel and Saw is/was addicted to the fumes. The machine is how they get it out of the pipeline safely.

Yeah, Saw being addicted to the fumes after being exposed to them on his homeworld of Onderon was an interesting twist. I wonder if his imprisonment in the jungle was before or after his appearances in The Clone Wars.

I know that his growing "Vaderification" is partly due to with battle wounds and such, but I wonder if his rhydonium addiction also plays a part. Maybe his breathing apparatus in Rogue One is actually filled with rhydo!

Or he's wrecked his lungs.
