(Plus, using Intimidate every round in combat (because the rules say you can while still attacking) seems kind of off to me...)

I know what you're saying, but then again, i like the idea that we have been able to dissuade these miners with diplomacy.

It feels like it fits that it's taken us a few rounds and an epic pair of crits to take negate their confidence and given that they're not soldiers, it feels morally appropriate to be able to be able to deal with them this way.

On the other hand, i don't think we would have as great a chance at persuading trained killers by comparison.

I don't know. The power of diplomatic roles in d20 systems has always been bery open to interpretation. I must say, i'd start to get bored if we used diplomacy and intimidation in all our fights, but again, in this one, it felt like the right thing to do for me.

Cool... want to wait a bit to see what Shayuri and Sezarius characters are going to do. Vivian will probably follow Jinahna's lead (not being as well versed in violence)

Mewp, will post tomorrow asap, but my intention is to move over as far as I can towards the mob-on-Jedi action and throw a Force Slam into the crowd. Not sure how many I can target without hitting my buddy, but it should thin the herd out a bit. Nonlethal of course.
