Star Wars Saga RPG: Square Book? WTF

I think he was being facetious, though I could be wrong. Damn you inter-tubes and your lack of tonal conveyance!
No really, I was being serious. 30 seconds with a measuring tape and a calculator. Hadn't really started a word count yet. The easiest way would be with a scanner and word recognition software, unfortunately the only method I actually have access to is manually...

It is about 100% more comfortable to read while lying down. Thats all I need right there. Seriously - I did that with 3.5 monster manual I for an hour and a half and I thought I'd need cpr.

Amusingly, I found myself with time to kill at a B&N last weekend and went looking for the SWSE, only to be (initially) disappointed as they didn't have any. I checked with a clerk who insisted they had one copy on the RPG shelf.

After digging around, they did indeed. But their RPG shelf is arranged with the covers of the books facing out (like a magazine rack), and someone had placed a book in front of the SWSE copy, hiding it from view because it was so short.

I didn't pick it up -- paying retail is a bit much for something I'm not sure I'll use. I'm still on the fence -- for every thing I read that I like, I read something else that I don't. I was hoping to get a chance to play it at GenCon, but that hasn't panned out.

You say "about 100%". Can you be a little more exact? I'd appriciate it a lot. Are you saying it is more 99.3% more comfortable or 89.7%? This would greatly help me decide to buy this game or not.

Thanks!

I wouldn't go to B&N unless I desperately needed something and I'm willing to pay MSRP.

Sign up for a Borders Reward Card and they'll email you discount coupons every week (just print them and bring them to the store).

Main reason I shop at B&N is because I've got a friend who works at Gamestop and apparently they're under the same parent company, because he gets 25% off there.

So, you basically mooch off of his employee discount perk? Devious. :]
