[Star Wars] Software for scrolling text?

So the Blender thing is kid of cool with how much you can do with it (panning to a planet at the end of the scrolling text), but it has a pretty steep learning curve.

Does anyone know of a something simpler out there? It'd would be great to find something that you could use to mix the music as well...
