Well, whoever is on their way to save SG:Atlantis group, better be some high-power NPCs.

Player1: N-o...no...what does it mean.?

-DM: {There is a great big long...smirk in response, that slowly sinks, behind the Dm screen}-

And this is a suprise? How many seasons of Stagate end with a Cliffhanger? In fact isn't this the first non cliff hanger season of Stargate?

I was expecting it.

True, but the last few episodes of both SG-1 and Atlantis have ended with the sudden quick fix. I was expecting that more than anything.

I can see that, but least it is only July and not October like so many series these days.

I'm having enough trouble making it to May 19th(Star Wars). Two more months?! Ugh...there'd better be some good TV between now and then.

Bah, not much of a cliffhanger. I seriously doubt the solution isn't going to be the obvious one where Daedelus shows up and wins the battle. Short of some cool surprise involving allied ships coming too (like towed FJN Hataks or Asgard, I don't see another way to make it work.

...and I think its unrealistically silly that they wouldn't bring extra nuclear weapons with other delivery systems. Playing the good guys stupid to force a risky daring plan was lazy. If Daedalus doesn't have nukes aboard, thats REALLY stupid.

Heck, it would have been nuts not to make sure that Atlantis would have nukes as a deterrent against the Genii, if not also a way to deliver them (a glider engine-based rocket?). Although, speaking of the Genii, assuming Daedalus has an Asgard transporter, it would make sense to steal their gate

 

[Hand of Evil]

A very good battle CGI with the city, aka Battle of London and Bagdad. It had some weak plot elements, enough nukes and the comment of holding some back but minor. I liked it.
