I thought this was a play-by-post game. I just looked back over the thread and you never actually said that, but I just assumed it I guess. I won't be able to coordinate a chat game, I'm afraid.

But now looking at this post, I'm still not sure which type you mean. Are you planning to start an in-game thread on Saturday, or are you trying for a chat-based game?

Hmm...I see Army and Navy ranks, but no Air Force? Stargate Command was run by the Air Force wasn't it?

Ah well, no biggy.

Would it be possible to get a quick summary of the characters already pitched, so I could see if there's an obvious "hole" in the ranks that needs patching?

Oh, also, any possible role for offworld humans? Not so much a Jaffa, as I think Teal'c was the only one to ever join SGC, but more like Quinn/Cassandra/Etc. Unmodded humans that were born off of Earth.

Those Humans would be ok, probably be Civillans, so far, It seems that we have an Explorer, a Techie-Nerd type, a Heavy-Hitter.
I just figured Army/Navy would fit better

Cheyenne Mountain was placed on "Permanent Standby", as of July 28, 2006, Stargate is the sole inhabitant of the massive complex.
The Replicators have not been seen in about 10 years, neither have the Asgard, whose civilization was virtually decimated by them.
Anubis has come to power, currently, he is the most powerful System Lord. Rumor has it, that Anubis has been experimenting with new weapons, and also with Sentinent beings
General Alex Neecho, currently commands the Stargate Program. General Neecho is assembling another Stargate Team, he has contacted, <Players>, and is waitng for them in his office.
