A mysterious stone causes an ordinary man to have visions of SG-1 in action.

A comedic run, I think.

That was a cool episode. It is rare to see a show poke fun at itself and its own unrealistic parts likew this episode did.

Yeah. Very cool, and it was, in the end, just a clip show. I especially love seeing Wormhole X-Treme mentioned again.

Another great thing was the comment about Jack seeing these visions of a normal life for seven years and not even giving it a second thought. Classic SG-1 moment, there.

 

[Hand of Evil]

A very good one, not just for poking fun at themselves but it was also a knod to the fans saying they know what is being said about the show and their concerns, a little fun too.

Oh, and I have to ask...did anyone catch the two Simpsons jokes? They were inevitable with Castellaneta, of course, and great.

The first was the comment about Jack loving the Simpsons...and the others was "Burns as Goa'uld".

Saw it was another clip show, skipped to fifteen minutes from the end after all the clips, enjoyed immensely. Didn't even bother to watch the rest of it.

Yeah, the episode itself was pretty slow going. But it did have a good payoff, and a few good moments showing Joe's reactions to events in SG-1's lives (especially Daniel's death & rebirth).

I think my favorite part was the exchange between Daniel and Jack. Went a little something like this:

Daniel: Broke in?

Jack: Yep.

Second time in two weeks?

Yep.

Alarm.

I was thinking dog....

Joe: You could lock your front door.

Classic SG-1! I rewound and replayed that twice cause I was laughing so hard I missed Joe's reply the first two times....
