I always get the vibe from SG-1 that they are having 'FUN' making the show. This episode and those behind the scenes specials that they do just reinforce that.

Fun makes for good TV.

I disagree. The best clip show EVAR was "Yes, Virginia, there is a Hercules," which shows us the people at Renassance Productions (as played by the cast of Hercules) scrambling to do something about Kevin Sorbo's absence after an earthquake in LA. I found it hilarious.

OK, Hercules as a TV show itself was pretty crap, but that clip show was hilarious.
