Stargate SG1 and Atlantis last season (spoilers)

Last season, I got as far as the militant race taking over Atlantis (during the hurricane), and about the same point in SG1 (Replicator 5 and Replicarter escaping). I come back this season, and not only has SGC retaken Atlantis, but they've also established a 3-4 week ferry service from Earth to Atlantis via a second cruiser (the Daedalus, gotta love it).

And in SG1, the Gouald have been toppled from power, the Replicators are defeated (except for the Asgard homeworld?), and now we have a new badguy race?

So, how did we get from point A to point B? What the heck happened? It seems I missed entire plot arcs in my hiatus!

if you wait a few more weeks I'm sure they'll start showing the new epidsodes over again until the next new 10 ones are ready

new badguys: SGC finds evidence of where the ancients originially came from ... discover there is another faction of ancients (Auri ... Ori?) willing to use their power to grant their clerics special powers, of course you have to submit to their will and basically become unquestioning slaves ... This galaxy's ancients will not let that galaxy's ancients use their power in this galaxy ... however their clerics can. This galaxy's ancients won't get involved (yet?) either b/c of the freewill thing and past problems with getting involved.

everything seems a bit to onesided so far ... I think we need a holy order of Jaffa (Paladins!!) to even the odds

I've had an online source for the videos, and I lost track from the point I mentioned, to the start of the new season. So I'm not going to be able to see the rest of last season...

I just wish that my favorite sites (gateworld and so on) would post more than a few technical details.

It'll be at least a couple years (if ever) before the library gains copies of last season, and probably a year after that before I get to the top of the "on hold" queue.

So yeah, plot synopses, links between episodes, other spoilers, all those would be appreciated.

Gateworld doesn't seem to provide more than technical details on most of the shows. I miss the days when they provided everything.

The summaries aren't up for all the season yet, true, it takes time and I believe the
guy who used to do them has left for other things but they're still doing them. Merely
at a slower rate.

And they have transcripts for every single episode. As in, whole scripts.

I was almost done writing up all the spoilers I could remember from last season when my baby grabbed the mouse and magicly made my whole post disapear. :\ we really need to discuss that.

short version - repliCarter killed off most of the goauld, sg1 destroyed all replicators everywhere, Anubis tried to use the replicator destroyer to kill off all life everywhere, daniel and oma stopped him, free jafar basicly won by default.

And in Atlantis, Major Sheppard managed to chase off the Genai all by his lonesome and they got the shield online in time to ride out the storm.

Then the Wraith started coming.... The upshot is, the Wraith believe that Atlantis was destroyed and the humans are content to leave it that way.

A Wraith was asuckin' on Lt. Ford when someone shot it and it pumped a whole lot of this strength-enhancing chemical into him. So he went berserk and was running around Pegasus ISO Wraith to kill and strip down for more of that chemical until recently.

I'm a little disappointed that they have a ferry service now. I liked it when they were cut off and on their own.

Although I guess now they can replace personnel.
