We're back to the old pacing . . . Can it be the whole reasoning for the Chloe storyline was to make her a useful math wiz? That would be sad.

The drones remind me of Greg Bear's Forge of God and Anvil of Stars novels, while the bioengineering "blue aliens" remind me of Stephen R. Donalson's Amnion from his Gap series.

While Scott/Chloe are as literally "star-crossed" as any couple I've seen.

So many good, good influences...so much potential...

I also liked it.
Was very interesting to see the change in Rush...I thought the scene where he complimented the two scientists, convinced them to leave via praise "I want to know I have my best people on this.", and then comment to the stunned Eli :"they would only have gotten in our way." was hilarious...

While I have enjoyed SGU, it definitely doesn't have the same feeling as SG-1 or Atlantis. And I'm wondering if that may be the reason that is is only making it through two seasons?

At any rate, I enjoyed the episode. It was a nice change of pace.

Despite knowing that the "double rush" ;) couldn't survive past the end of the episode, I greatly enjoyed this one. This is the quality of writing and directing they've needed all along, every other week or so.
