I am intending to use this in a future campaign of mine and am intending (though I haven't gotten to it yet) on coming up with a name for each combination... similar to the UA suggested "Bard-barian" but but a bit more flavorful - i.e. using Skald for the afforementioned example. I know that in terms of published material skald is used elsewhere, even within UA if I remember correctly, but I think it would be the best sort of thing for my homebrew for that. I also plan on putting together character class tables for the roughly 21 possible character classes based on gestalt core classes as well as any others that are likely to crop up to make it easy enough for the players to work with as it will be almost like using a standard character class table.
