I want to know one specific thing. By RAW, errata, and even any seemingly valid CSRs, what is the bare minimum a rogue must do in order to get sneak attack damage on a melee attack in this situation:
1) The rogue is adjacent to the target.
2) There is no flanking ally. Nor can one move into position. Neither can the rogue move into position to flank.
3) The target of the attack has already taken an action in this encounter.
4) The target is aware of the presence of the adjacent rogue.
5) There is no cover, of any type, anywhere immediately adjacent to the target.
6) There is a surrounding ring of cover 4 squares away from the target.
Please clarify exactly what rolls would be required if this is possible.
Thank you.
