Steampunk Help

I am working on an idea for steam punk magic in my game system called Technomancy. Basically it would be a form of enchantment that allows you to create strange mechanical devices that don't really make sense under science.
The idea that I had was to have several interesting components and let the players put things together. I was planning on limiting the number they could create based on magical materials needed. These are some ideas that I have as components so far:

Technomancy is the ability to create technological devices that are partially functioning due to magic. Technomancer devices often use magical materials mixed with clockworks, steam machinery, and early rocketry.

Object Sizes
Backpack Device – You can attach a propulsion system to a backpack device and move around one person. They can carry two other people but it will mostly hover or move slowly. Compressed Fire makes this a Jetpack. Compressed Water makes this an underwater hydrojet. Etc.

Small Vehicle – You can build a small vehicle, the size of a car, and add technomancy devices.

Medium Vehicle – You can build a medium vehicle, the size of a

Flaws
Dark Sacrifice – The device requires blood or some other vital fluid or object as a sacrifice once a week in order to function. This is different from the actual power source.
Alchemical Catalyst – The device requires an alchemical potion once a week in order to function. The particular potion can cause strange side effects, depending on its nature.
Unreliable – The device works some of the time.

Basic Air – This can be used to create fresh air in a sealed area. It will keep any air in the area clear and easily breathable.
Compressed Air – This can be used to create force and push something around. Requires Basic Air.
Basic Fire – This can be used to create warmth in an area. It will keep that area a comfortable temperature no matter the outside temperature. It can also be used to create light equal to a lantern. This often uses Ember as a part of its construction.
Compressed Fire – This can be used to create force and push something around, like a jetpack, or as a weapon, such as a flame thrower. Requires Basic Fire.
Basic Water – This can be used to provide fresh water in a sealed area. This can be used with Basic Fire to create Steam. This often uses Naiad Pearls as a part of its construction.
Compressed Water – This can be used to create force and push something around, like a boat. It can also be used to create hydraulic engines that should not work that way. Requires Basic Water.
Basic Lightning – This can be used to power certain objects or just create light. This often uses a piece of Keneus Oak in its construction.
Compressed Lightning – This can be used as a ranged weapon or to power a large and complex device. Requires Basic Lightning.

Movement
Whirly Bird – You know how to make a functional helicopter with a motor that is too small for its lifting capacity. It can fold up into the back pack and is not heavy at all. This requires a separate power source.

Clockwork Movement – You know how to make an object with clockwork articulation.

Orichalcum Glyphs – These are the magical equivalent of circuit boards that take certain magical energies and direct them. They would be needed for any kind of advanced controls.

Weapons
Turret – You have a turret on the device that allows you to use a compressed element as a weapon.

Lenses
Fairy Lenses – This allows you to see past standard fair glamors. More powerful fae will still be able to deceive you.
Dark Lenses – This allows you to see dark entities, including demons, outsiders, and shadows.
Astral Lenses – This allows you to see spirits and anything in the Astral plane.

Hmm...need some appropriate mundane & exotic materials- glass, brass, quicksilver. Each should have unique attributes & uses in a steampunk setting. For instance, quicksilver might be essential for storing lightning.

...and some steam power.

The idea I had for steam power was to add the basic water to basic fire. That would generate the steam.
I was also thinking about having a middle ground between basic and compressed element.
I like the idea of quicksilver.
The actual brass and other materials would be dependent on the setting. I want this power to cover steampunk AND other magical technologies.
