Stephen Colbert

I love him. My roommates want to perform favors for him. I don't love him that much, but I certainly can't judge my friends. If I weren't so darned puritanical I might agree with them.

For those who don't know, Stephen Colbert is one of the cast of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. He's quite arguably the funniest man on TV. The things he makes jokes about are not normally allowed on these boards because they're about religion and politics, but his delivery is so great, he could probably swing by here, get three threads closed, and brighten everyone's day in the process.

So, is there more love for Stephen Colbert? Is there any hate for him?

but I like Steve Carrell more, though I don't think he's on Daily Show anymore.

On a side note, I saw Mo Rocca at the National Botanical gardens in D.C. a couple of months ago.

I like Stephen Colbert because he reminds me a lot of Phil Hartman -- huge screen presence, the ability to turn virtually anything into a laugh, yet simultaneously having a strangely dignified presence that can turn something ridiculous into something plausible. NewsRadio should've hired him in Season 5.
