The amazing thing is, the head of CNN agreed with John's speech and cancelled Crossfire afterwards. Their "Great moments in punditry, as read by kids" bit is very amusing too. The foolishness of most punditry is a perpetual stock of targets for them to aim at.

John owned.

I recall that knob with the bowtie looking like he'd been poleaxed and manged to come up with "Um...you talk about Politcs on your show" as his most credible comeback.

Didn't help, John pretty much kifed him in the gut with...

"My show is on Comedy Central, the lead-in is puppets making crank calls. You guys are on CNN for god sake"

The minute I can "buy" Comedy Central and the one or two other channels I want and not have to pay for the other crap, I may know the joy of The Daily Show. Until then, I'll simply have to dream. And watch online clips....

The Daily Show and Porn? Let's see if we can't get Martha Stewart involved in here....

The Daily Show used to advertise using the line, "More people get their news from the Daily Show than probably should." I think that's really changed. It's teh best news source out there right now.

I love Jon Stewart. Too bad he's straight. :(
