D&D 5E Stitch Attack?

The Seamstress

I have this wonderful 12 limbed (some limbs smaller than others) miniature and wanted to make a seamstress type monster that stitched adventurers to themselves or each other as part of its horrible attack.

Anyone aware of anything out there that is remotely similar as a starting point?

Kobold Press first tome of monsters has a sewing low-CR spider with some kind of sewing attack, IIRC.

Imp. Int. Scout Svc. (Dishon. Ret.)
DC Comics has a superhero who fights evil by welding dead dogs to criminals' faces (I am not making this up). Closest I can think of.

(Many and varied are the reasons I dislike DC.)

Melee or Ranged Attack: +8, reach 10 ft. one or two creatures.
Hit: The hag stitches two creatures together or stitches a creature’s limbs to its own body. The target(s) must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or become stitched.

Stitched Condition: While stitched, the creature(s) are restrained in one of the following ways (hag’s choice):
  • Arms and Legs: A single creature has either its arms sewn or legs stitched together and is restrained and can’t use the stitched body part (e.g., stitched arms can’t wield weapons or somatic components, stitched legs prevent walking).
  • Two creatures stitched together: The creatures are bound together and cannot move more than 10 feet apart. If one moves, it drags the other with it. Both creatures are restrained.
  • Breaking the threads: The stitches can be torn apart as a bonus action with a DC 18 Strength (Athletics) check, however this causes 4d6 damage to the stitched creature(s). A Medical kit DC 16 can be used to carefully remove the stitches over a minute.
