Storm Front

Elf Witch

First Post
A friend of mine told me that they are making a movie/tv series from Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden novels.

The company making them is supposed to be Nicholas Cage's though he is not playing Harry.

Has anyone else heard anything to this effect?

I can't wait for this TV series to come out. Hopefully, it will fill the void that Buffy/Angel left.

If anybody hasn't read this sereies yet, I highly suggest it. However, you have to get to the third or fourth book for it to really get good.

Your're right Elf Witch, I can't figure out why they did this with the casting. It should be the other way around. Susan is hispanic and Murphy is Irish-American. Hmm, I guess we will see-

I wonder who they will get for the voice of Bob?

I am reading the series right now I just finished Grave Peril and so far I love all the books.

You know who I would like to see do Bob Alan Rickman. That's a pipe dream is most likely out of their budget. But he has the right voice to be as snarky as Bob.

I agree. Alan Rickman would make a great Bob.

When I was looking over the cast again I was a little confused by "Kirmani?" And than I figured it out - it is "Carmichael," Murphy's partner :o

Carmichael (slaps head) for the life of me I could not figure out who they were talking about. Because I could not recall any character names Kirmani.
