The Stormfire Ring (MIC 206) creates a Faerie Fire effect that does 1d6 damage/round for 5 rounds.

Could a PC then use Veil of Storms (MIC 213) to inflict the additional electrical damage?

I don't have the book with me today, but I don't see why not? I would assume you mean in round 2 as a new standard action, activate the veil?

No because the requirements for Veil of Storms is that the damage come from an arcane spell that you cast. Using an ability from a magic item doesn't count as an arcane spell.

Well the wording says spells that 'YOU' cast, so I can't see why not.
I know you're casting it from an item but you're still casting it.
It's up to the DM I say.
