Karala the sprite shared with the party several different entrances to the dungeons below. The party decided to follow Marcus' trail, which led through many difficult to traverse natural caverns, caverns which have started to branch off in many different directions.
You encountered Mesh, a disturbed half-elf, who, while apparently not so fearsome a foe, seems to have a knack for survival. You found many natural caverns, and have encountered a carrion crawler, spiders, darkmantles and ghouls, all of whom were defeated.
You found a large cavern filled with funguses, some of them edible. The cavern was not fully explored, but you can tell there is a source of water nearby.
You discovered a natural worked hallway, filled with mist. Mesh spoke of a captured woman, Tessa by name. She sounds like she'd be worth rescuing, and a good ally to have, with healing abilities. Her captor - a dwarven wizard called Kulth. Tessa is guarded by six orc zombies, down the mist-filled corridor.
The ghouls called themselves Kulth's children, and attacked in the mist. One escaped, and the party pursued, tracking it through further natural caverns. The party is now in another large cavern which branches off in several directions. Approaching are two carrion crawlers.
