Str 2 -- can I peel an orange?

Hmm, that's funny. I thought for sure the minimum 3 stat rule was in the book, either the PHB or DMG. I can't seem to find it.

Quick replies:

1) I am playing 3.0 not 3.5 -- good for somethings, not for others. Notably, my spell-like and spell racial abilities are ok.

2) Stats that are not INT can indeed go below 3 (but should be above 0). Thus half-orcs can slightly cheese out by putting an extremely low roll into INT (if they roll a 3 and put it into INT, then it doesn't go any lower). I know this is so for 3.0 and am 99% certain it is so for 3.5. (I would say beyond a shadow of a doubt, but someone got badly burned when they said that and were wrong). :)

3) While 3.0 toad only gives +2 con, being a gnome also gives +2 con, making a total of +4 con from 16 to 20 (I could have put the 18 in con, but I wanted the 18 to go into INT because, after all, I am a wizard).

4) A guide dog? I think my DM would do something especially evil to me concerning it. :) But I like the ideas.

My DM veto'd the idea of my toad carrying stuff in a tiny little backpack. :)

A 3 int is unplayable as an adventurer. You're as smart as a Tendriculos or Grick, for goodness sakes. No higher brain functions there. A 2 str can be played, barely. Granted, you will pass out from one ray of enfeeblement, let alone any STR poison...

Forget the guide dog, see if you can hire a porter to carry you (and your stuff) around. What you need is a big burly henchmen and one of those child carriers. Just strap yourself to his back, and give him a tower shield or a polearm (depending on your preference).

Actually, ray of enfeeblement cannot reduce strength below 1.
