Str 2 -- can I peel an orange?

STR 2 would be like Mr. Burns from the Simpsons.

"I'll crush you as easily as this paper cup" (IIRC, Smithers ends up having to crush the cup for him)

I went for a toad familiar. The idea of a familiar that was stronger than I was seemed disturbing somehow. :)

ROFL!!!

What a great scene! Don't ever get into an argument with your toad!

I think you can peel oranges, you just need a very sharp implement to penetrate the peel to get started. Or ask the fighter to peel it for you.

You have great stats there, and the start of what seems to be a memorable character.

Good Luck!

Here's some DCs for you to test against:

Climb Example Surface or Activity
DC
0 A slope too steep to walk up, or a knotted rope with a wall to brace against.
5 A rope with a wall to brace against, or a knotted rope, or a rope affected by the rope trick spell.
10 A surface with ledges to hold on to and stand on, such as a very rough wall or a ship’s rigging.

Long Jump
5 feet DC5
10 feet DC10

High Jump
1 foot DC4
2 feet DC8
3 feet DC12

Swim (yeah, I'd avoid water.)
Calm water 10
Rough water 15

Since you're a Gnome you can carry 4.5lbs to a light load,
and can only carry a max of 15lbs. Which means you can barely lift 30lbs off the ground. You could just drag your equipment everywhere, letting you carry 75lbs in this fashion. I wouldn't recommend this if you're in anything remotely resembling a hurry.

That's Damnned infirm. I'm pretty sure you can peel the orange, but it might be another story actually lifting it too your mouth...

If you're playing 3.5, then with that 9 charisma you won't be able to cast any of your spell-like abilities.

And yes, you cannot have a stat lower than 3.

Currently playing a gnome sorcerer with a 6 Str, and it is fun. He carried a crossbow for a while, but eventually tossed it. Of course, he has one advantage over your character: no bulky spellbook.

Are you starting at 1st level? In a few levels he should be able to handle most things with cantrips. Lift everything with Mage Hand, even your soup spoon. Who needs to carry a torch and oil when you have a Light spell. Rely on your magic as much as possible.

Of course, as pointed out by others, a 2 Str is not quite as weak as it sounds. As noted by Xavim, he can even take 10 and climb a knotted rope.

This character should most definitely have a "assist" dog. perhaps with a handle for him to reach out and grasp while walking (to avoid falling).

Instead of extra weapons - you should probably invest in lots of extra scrolls for your basic firepower spells. You should already have the scribe scroll feat for free. On your first adventure you don't have any xp to start with to spend on scrolls.

As a DM I allow any starting characters to borrow up to 25xp per level for scrolls if he has the scribe scroll feat. Note that this is taken out of his first xp award and its use or lose during character creation.
