Piratecat Sesquipedalian Nov 14, 2004 #4 Hard cover, as opposed to paperback. What do these weapons do? Last edited: Nov 14, 2004
H HeavyG First Post Nov 14, 2004 #5 Mechanically, they do cold damage and wisdom damage to both the wielder and those the weapon strikes. They are also pretty fragile, and can get damaged themselves every time they hit something. The flavor text is pretty cool.

the Jester Legend Nov 14, 2004 #6 Damn I like that book... still trying to find time to finish reading it, it's bound to happen someday but... I have to say that Frostburn is one of the best 3.5 books, imho.

HC = Hardcover as Gato Pirata concluded correctly. Kind regards P.S.: Stygian Ice was it and it's not a magical property but a special substance. Just for the record. Last edited: Nov 15, 2004
