succubi can't go ethereal on outer planes?

Where is anyone getting the idea of the ethereal being accessable from anywhere? It's not, the changes in the MotP made the -astral- accessable anywhere, but it restricted the ethereal to being only present around the prime material.

3e MotP.

Of course, looking back now, while the idea did come from MotP, it's not the "default". It's an option.

But it should be the default, by darn! :heh:

I wasn't counting the sig, glass.:p

Psion, in the 3e MotP, the Ethereal Plane is indeed accessible from anywhere - via a gate or plane shift spell. Otherwise see my [edit].

Or point me to the bit I've missed.:D

Edit: p55 "In the D&D cosmology, only the Material Plane has a co-existent Ethereal Plane. None of the Inner or Outer Planes connect to the Ethereal Plane..."

I'm tempted to think that your cunning editing skills have something to do with my response but then I seem to have misread so many posts in the last couple of days...

Blast. I was always hoping it would be the physical things that started to go first. But no. Apparently, it's my mind.
