Suggestions for an Entry Level Campaign

First Post
A friend of mine and I are looking up to start a couple of home campaigns for D&D 3.5 rules. I am hoping that I can get a few recommendations for a couple of good low level campaigns (APL 2 through 8 or so). I am still rather new to DMing, so campaigns that are well written and don't require a lot of improv would be a huge plus.

Thanks in advance.

The Lost City of Barakus from Necormancer Games is a great mini-campaign source that has a little of everything to take characters from 1st through 7th-8th and they did most of the footwork for you in regards to all of the details.

Here is the Enworld Barakus review

They have ideas for all of the adventure hooks, NPCs and their basic stats and personalities, detailed wilderness area and encounters as well as the city of Endhome.

You can place this sucker in just about any campaign world (Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, Wildlands, etc..) and take if from there.

Good luck!

I hear a lot of god stuff about the World of Whitethorn stuff (Hamlet of Thumble and Village of Oester), which provides a small locale / starting campaign setting and adventures taking adventurers from 1st through 5th level and providing ideas for more.

It also includes tips of DM'ming, starting a new campaign etc., some new spells and monsters to wow any players who already perused the PHB and MM extensively...
