Heck, I like Nathan Fillion, but he looks ridiculous.

A farmer's market maybe? There are places, but yeah, damage is usually significantly higher for that kind of death and injury.Given real estate prices these days, that casualties to damages ratio is a little weird. Where did he get a crowd of 30+ people, but so little bulding?

I noticed htey called him superman instead of Kal-Elso regarding the robots in the Fortress of Solitude, the first one says not to thank them as they have no conciousness, then No 12 is introduced at her voice modulation appears to be female and excited - is that just suppose to be a bit of flavour before they get wrecked or does it bode for something deeper (ie Brainiac?)

I don't if it's meant to be sinister, but Gunn is clearly telling us the first robot is wrong and the robots do have needs and motivations.so regarding the robots in the Fortress of Solitude, the first one says not to thank them as they have no conciousness, then No 12 is introduced at her voice modulation appears to be female and excited - is that just suppose to be a bit of flavour before they get wrecked or does it bode for something deeper (ie Brainiac?)
Yeah even as someone very much bored with superheroes generally right now, and who generally preferred the edge of the '80s and '90s X-Men over more silver-age stuff, I've always had a soft spot for Supes, and this looks like exactly the right kind of Superman.OK, now that is my Superman.
Yeah I didn't read it as sinister, more as typically "Head butler"-ish self-deprecation - "Oh don't bother yourself with us, sir!" - it's a lie so obvious everyone involved sees through it. Downton Abbey stuff - presumably this does give us a bit of insight into the Kryptonians in general - one very much doubts Kal-El programmed them this way.I don't if it's meant to be sinister, but Gunn is clearly telling us the first robot is wrong and the robots do have needs and motivations.
