P.S. I still think the best hurricane shelter I've ever seen is the battleship USS Alabama. It's got about 1 foot of water under its keel so it can't sink. (It also can't move so it won't help YOU any, alas.) It weighs 35,000+ tons so it won't blow away. It comes equipped with 16" of steel plate all over, to protect against flying debris. Internal electrical power, big kitchen, beds for 2000. What more do you need?
