One of the greats, agreed. But not the greatest.

Arguably the most iconic D&D cover art of all time. Certainly the most popular and well known (Sold more than any other product, and was the cover for the recent Arc & Arcana book). And he went out early. Such as these threads tend to go I suppose

If Elmore is gone, I have to keep going for Easley. I still get giddy pangs of sweet nostalgia just thinking about how I felt when I saw the reprints for the 1e core books.
