While trying to think of some humorous thing to say about the rod, I stumbled onto an idea I may use one day. The Rod of Seven(pride, covetousness, lust, anger, gluttony, envy, and sloth) Parts. Each part would have power according to its sin. Perhaps the kingdoms they are hidden in have much higher than normal incidences of those activities. There could even be an opposing rod with the virtues. Big bad juju if you get them together. Lots of good stories could be told around that.
