And I have never had a campaign with a lich! In fact the only undead I have ever used where some wraiths and zombies. And last I checked it is not called Dungeons and Liches.

Let's examine the name a bit closer. Dungeons and Dragons. So what do you do with a dungeon? You bury it! That must be what you do with dragons, too.

Actually, in my campaign the where made by a black dragon! As undead go liches are pretty good, but I prefer the tried and true vampire myself.
