That's probably true to an extent; while I can't speak to this particular thread, I do think it's a mistake to assume that everyone regularly posting in this 5e forum currently plays and/or likes 5e. It shouldn't be a mistaken assumption, honestly, but it is.

Agreed. I mean, you'd think on a 5e forum, the people posting would have a genuine interest in 5e and play it when they can. But I'm not naive enough to think that we don't have a few posters who don't actually play it, and just want to complain about it. I will never understand that mindset (look at my join date, and then look at how many posts I made to this forum during the 4e days when I'm not a fan of 4e).
