I’m gonna be really sad to see Excalibur knocked out soon. Hellen Mirran, Liam Neeson, Gabriel Byrne, and a young butt kicking Patrick Stewart?

It must be all the paladin hate, since that IS the go to movie for paladins lol.
Good cast, not such a great movie - particularly once they've won Camelot. I think it really breaks down from there. But not really a good D&D movie compared to other entries.

Camelot breaks down from there. That's kind of the point. It's a movie about how everything falls apart.

So many of these were badly scripted, badly executed, but still in their core D&D-esque. Legend may have Tom Cruise in his infancy, but it was one of those terribly scripted, terribly done lame cliche movies. I'll get to Ladyhawke next... Of course, as a disclaimer, I loved many of these terrible movies growing up.
