SW:3 Plot [Spoilers!!!]

Honestly, I think that a big part of SW's success was due to its special FX.
Of course the effects are important, but I don't buy that the effects are even the primary reason for SW's success (if that's being implied). Loads of movies with better FXs that any movie previously released aren't nearly as successful, nor do they have as much impact on the culture.

I'd say 95% yes.

In RotJ, Luke asks her if she remembers her mother, her real mother. Leia says that she remembers a beautyful woman, who is strangely sad.

Of course, it might be that she remembers a foster mother, since Luke stresses the "real mother" part, I assume that this is quite unlikely.

I would argue that Episode I has a far superior cast to Episode IV overall.

Why, exactly, would you do that? Sure, Ewan McGregor and Liam Neeson are good actors, and Natalie Portman is also (at least, some of the time), but in Star Wars proper, although the main cast wasn't so hot, they had the benefit of an excellent supporting cast. Alec Guinness, yes, but you forgot Peter Cushing, one of the great British character actors. And James Earl Jones just did voicework, but it was excellent voicework.

And besides, Episode I is bogged down by a goofy Ahmed Best and a fairly stiff performance from Jake Lloyd. Yes, I know he's just a kid, but there are definitely better child actors out there.

Demiurge out.
