I'm looking for SW setting books that are structured for episodic play, the more like scenario-generators for wargames, the better. I'm not really looking for Plot Point campaigns; more like random adventure/battle generators - it is imperative that in a campaign context, it is quite possible for different players to drop in and out. Something like the mission generator in Tour of Darkness but even more so would be utterly awesome!
To clarify, I'm looking for something to run when we can't get the full gaming circle together. Ideally, the characters that are present could just tool up and go on a mission.
So what settings am I looking for here? I assume that the other Weird Wars books are structured like that, but what about Rippers? I understand that the default player org in that is sort of a mason's guild of victorian adventurers, which sounds like the kind of structure I'm looking for.
And what about non-PEG settings? I hear that Necropolis is warhammer-ish which sounds promising for scenario play. And isn't there a GI-Joe-faux supplement somewhere? Can that do episodic play?
Dazzle me with your insights!
