Richard ? Yep, Richard.

[sblock=OOC: ]This is Richard Rawen.
I had intended to add this to my original post just after posting yesterday... and even though it was only half an hour after my browser autologged me in, it had lost my account info. And then...
All attempts to log in result with no such user email.
My account seems to be disabled.
Admin has been emailed.
In the mean time I will use this new account to keep up.
Sorry for the messed up timing on the following post.
RR[/sblock]Richard hollers, "You two find some cover, we'll try to flank it!" just before plunging into the bog to find cover himself.

[sblock=ooc]Richard Rowan: is that Major US or Major Russ?[/sblock]

a little early for my turn, but if nothing changes too much, this is what Karl does for now:

Karl moves to s,28. if he is able to get that far, he will be with in point blank shot
Karl Shoots his short bow:
1d20+5=8, 1d6+1=6 and it goes who knows where.

(I had another roll, but the computer went wonky on me. I have no idea what the roll was either!)

[sblock=RR IHMS]Richard is niether American military nor is he Ruskovich. In fact his persona was orignally based upon a RL knight of renown from the age of the Norman conquest of England.
His character background however does include almost 12 years of military servitude and/or service, so hollering orders under combat situations isn't out of character at all :) [/sblock]

Weel Naxel, human cleric

The young cleric blanches as his fellows move to engage the huge creature, but swallows back his fear to hold aloft the symbol of Phyrah he carries on his neck. "Phyrah's blessing, indeed! Lady guide their hands that we might keep to your path!" he calls out. A soft hum and the lightest of breezes seems to emanate from the totem in the cleric's hand, and as both reach his companions, they feel themselves bolstered.

Steeling himself as the strength of his patron energizes him, Weel readies his crossbow.

[sblock=OOC]Casting Bless. All ally attack and saving throws vs. fear at +1. Move action to ready crossbow.[/sblock]

IHMS= in his Magisties service?

OOC: we last left Richard in S30, and he has an entire round of actions to post that take place just ahead of Karl's move and bowshot. Then the hydra.

[sblock=OOC] Well, I'm not sure what would be the best decision, given the creature's reach. If I move to T30, would that make the beast stop short of Gildrim, thus negating his next round?
Given this indecision, if at all possible Richard would want to stay above water to recieve the Bless effects, and for that matter as long as is practical before having to avoid AoO from the beast.
He'll hold his attack until it is in range, then start hacking at the body.

In unrelated news, I have heard nothing back from Admin on my Richard Rawen account status. It was fine one morning, later that afternoon it is as if there is no such account. If any of you have any inside pull with the site admins, I'd truly appreciate just a bit of feedback as to what I can do to fix this.
Thank you.[/sblock]Richard holds position, trying to set his feet and prepare for the coming battle. He steadies his breathing, ready to submerge when the multi-headed monster gets in range.
