Sweet Mother of Miniatures! Check these out~

Very pretty, well designed, a bit "fiddly" in the details.

Unfortunately I don't see a use for any of them in my games...

...with the possible exception of the Hallowe'en Hamster ;)

I've been looking forward to the leaping assassin for a long time. I saw Bobby Jackson sculpting him at Gen Con.

PS

that just doesn't sound intimidating at all. "Watch out! For I and the leaping assassin!!"

"Bwaaahahahah!"

It would be an amazing coincidence if he was truly not inspired by this one:

Agreed. I knew you were thinking of the Shanys mini as soon as I saw the Reaper sculpt. That Confrontation figure made such a big splash that I don't know how anyone in the field could not have seen it, even if it was a subliminal influence on their work.

(And, obviously, there are at least four of us out there with the same idea, since you, me and Foundry of Decay mentioned it in this thread -- and someone mentioned it to Jackson in front of Storminators wife!)

In reality, its likely the sculptor may not have seen the Confrontation miniature with the resemblance. Sculptors tend to work from artist concepts, and the artist who did the initial concept images of this miniature may have been inspired by the Rackham miniature.

I'm certainly not saying its a forgery or anything of that nature, since every idea has been done before in some way, and every solitary artist/craftsperson gets their inspiration from previous works or the crafts of the world around them. I myself draw a lot of inspiration from other artworks when I'm scribbling.
