And let me take this opportunity to say, Claudio, that I love these disks! I just printed 100 dire rats last night. Hoo boy, is it going to suck to be my players today. :]

The cool thing is, since the images are in jpg format, you can resize them or drop them into a character sheet. Oh yes, the CC digital disks make me a very happy girl.
Agreed. For miniatures or counters, its the best resource I own, bar none.

The party all blanched when I put out a colossal scorpion the other day (a normal scorpion, resized and then printed from the Collection.) They positively panicked when I then put out five more. :D

That Digital counter collection is something I keep putting on my Xmas lists, but my wife never gets. :) In this case, if Fiery Dragon's turning out an updated one within the next few months, that's not a bad thing anymore!

Fiery Dragon realized that people outside of North America might want this: OVERSEAS [$35 shipping].

Peace and smiles :)

I emailed Fiery Dragon to see if they will honour the initial price I paid when I placed the order (as the overseas shipping option wasn't available a couple of days ago). Looking forward to seeing what the reply is :)...

(OT: I put the digitial counter collection to great use last night when I ran the second half of the Tomb of Horrors for my group. And nobody ripped the counters up in a fit of pique when I TPKed them, either - sweet!)

Just heard back from Fiery Dragon - they're sending me the map at the original price quoted when I placed the order :).

Thanks guys - you are men of honour and distinction and I salute you!

Not sure I'd have a need for such a large map.

Along those lines, this "looks" cool, but is it practical?

What would you do with it, besides hang it on the wall and ooh and ah over it?

I don't see a need to draw routes on it or anything like that. Easier to describe, or to print out one of the smaller electronic maps for a focused area.

It's not miniature scale, so a map like that would be better for combat encounters, and even "setting the scene" with miniatures.

Does anyone have a use for this besides looking at it?

I'm wondering if my game will be better off were I to spend that money on Ptolus miniatures, Fiery Dragon's counter collection for Ptolus (or their digital one), Dwarven Forge stuff, you name it.

I'd like to think I could use it if I spent the money on it.

Any ideas?
