OSR Swords and Wizardry Complete Revised Kickstarter pre-launch.

So I wonder what will be revised. It will be complete revision...but what does it mean?

It's being revised to remove the OGL content.

It was revised to use the CC SRD instead of the OGL, but I suspect that doesn't mean a lot since the SRDs provided spell/ monster/ magic item names but much of the rest of the text was original, anyway. It's also having a few bits added by popular demand, such as morale rules and magic item creation. There are simple, achievable stretch goals like PDF spell books for each class listing spells by level, and referee screen inserts. But overall it's not too different from Swords & Wizardry's previous editions - intentionally so.

Matt will include his own licence for 3PPs, though he's still open to considering ORC once it's finalised.

I don't have any warm feelings for OD&D, but that blue cover is A+.
