With some luck (and a lot of hard work), Avatar is in a concealed location within easy pistol range of the entrance of the tomb, just outside the excavation. Let's say, within 40' of the entrance, if not closer.

Paladin is on the surface directly guarding the entrance, blocking it with his body.

"A full moon...of course it is. I suppose that the ritual can only be performed by the light of the full moon. Darkness comes, and so does Relic I am sure."

OOC:Still waiting to hear from Sergeant and Psyren to know where everyone is. Then we can get rolling again.

Sergeant will be hiding inside, but will try to get a line of sight on everyone, including Avatar's hiding place.

Sergeant can see everyone (so far), but Avatar because the tomb itself is recessed in the ground. This cuts off the angle of his vision.

OOC: Sorry, sick Psyren insists on being the last one as she's got the best mental defenses, and hiding is not what she does well.

The night continues on in a lazy cloudless way. A coleman lantern burns in one of the tents as the PHDs continue to decipher the scroll. Occasionally, their voices get very loud as they either figure something out or disagree about a possible explanation. The heroes are shocked to attention as they hear Dr. Theodopolis scream followed by a blaster pistol and the men shouting.
