The vigilant touches down in Mongolia on a wide open step. The heroes can see as far as the eye will allow. There are about 14 tents near an opening in the ground. as they approach the tent complex they are greeted by a bearded man in his mid-forties. "Lisa so good to see you. I sent most of the crew away, but Tom and I stayed to translate the scroll." Dr. Theodopolis hugs the man and says to the Resolutes, "This is Dr. Steven Ritland. He was a doctoral student when ai was an undegrad at Harvard". He doesn't seem too thrilled to have the Resolutes there, and is a little cool towards them during introductions. Wheeler moves his chair forward, pumps the man's hand, and says, "Dr. Ritland. The UN appreciates your cooperation. Of course the noteriety can only help bring attention to your stellar academic career. I smell a book deal" Somehow this pandering seems to mollify the man. "We're heading towards the tents, you folks figure out how you're going to protect the bowl"
When the Resolutes look at the tomb they see a very small room about 25'x15' feet. Near the back the bowl is on a pedestal.

Avatar surveyed the small tomb. "All right, here's a plan. Our best vision outside the tomb, to pick him up before he gets here. Our biggest muscle, two of them, right inside the entrance...keep him out if we can, keep him in if we can't. And the last person right by the bowl, doing whatever it takes to keep his paws off of it. Anyone got a better idea? Anyone want to volunteer for one of those jobs?"Salix said:

"I suggest me and Avatar will stand watch outside. Paladin has shown some ability to resist the mind control, Psyren should eb able to counter it. You are obviously the two stringest of us, so you should stand as teh last line, Avatar and I will just make sure no one is hurt here until you neutralize him."
These were good people...full of good ideas. Sergeant outside, Paladin just inside the door, Psyren by the bowl, good. Avatar mulled over whether he should be just outside the entrance or just inside it. "As for myself, I think I want to set up an ambush", he suggested. "Let me see if that will work better with me on the outside or the inside..."[sblock=Ooc]Looking for an opportunity to set up a Surprise Attack and make use of Avatar's Sneak Attack feat...[/sblock]

"I suggest that we all stay within sight of one another. He has shown that he can easily impersonate others. If some are outside beyond sight, he could impersonate them and enter as a teammate unhindered. I would suggest that we all stay outside the doorway to attempt to keep him from gaining entrance. That way all four of us can come to bear on them together. And if he does get by us into the tomb, them we can bottle up the entrance and keep him from getting out."
"Also, I should be very effective against the revenants if I can strike them hard enough and have them gathered around me."
[OOC: Looking to put my specialization to good use, since I crit on 15+ and minions should just drop when critted. That plus my cleave should work well if I can just get a good roll or two!]
