J-Pappy walks up to the heroes and thanks them for helping out, but follows up with, "You need to get my art back. Noone messes with J-pappy." Avatar has a sneaking suspicion he is enjoying the free publicity.
Psyren gives J-Pappy a parting kiss on each cheek (Must be a french thing), "We will find it, but it may be best to give it up as lost. Man who can do this needs it not for money, no? You watch self carefully Jay."

Two days pass, and the heroes begin to get anxious. They fill their days out training, resting, and waiting to get the call to get back into action. Each one slowly runs through their mind what they've done wrong so far, and what they need to do to stop Relic in the future. After they have breakfast a call comes on the intercom system. OOC: The team will have to go through the Ready lounge to get to the breifing room. it's a pain, but I thought it might be fun to interact a little since we are back at HQ. We are closing in on a conclusion, although we aren't quite to the finale. Hope everyone is enjoying it so far.

Paladin enters the briefing room, having just come through the Ready Lounge again. Seeing that he is the first to arrive, he decides to stand and await the others. Not pacing or showing any other signs of nervousness, he does however begin examining his armor, sheild and sword to test their battle readiness. "This time, Relic, you shall not so easily escape my blade." Paladin mutters to himself...

Sergeant has spent his last two days to contact all his friends who how him some favor, to see if they couldn't find something usefull on all that story. He just hand out form one of them who couldn't help him when they called him. "I hope they had better luck then me." He heads toward the Briefing room.

[SBLOCK=OOC]I am trying to get more information throught my Security Clearance Benefit feat if there is something I can get from that.[/SBLOCK]

"Every time he got past us, it's because we were distracted by those zombie things", Avatar thought to himself. He spent his time at headquarters trying to figure out a better way of dealing with Relic's Revenant minions. He used all the information resources the Resolutes could provide to him to try to find the answer.[sblock=OoC: ]Basically, trying to figure out what the Revenants are, what there powers are, and how their defenses might be overcome. If that means a Knowledge:History check, he'll take 20 if possible. His modifier is +18, so that would overcome a DC38 on the Knowledge roll.

Of course, if the nature of the Revenants was never recorded in any ancient text, that wouldn't do him much good. :\ [/sblock]

Psyren enters the room, looking somewhat disturbed and irritated. "Those creatures, zhey had no minds. How is possable?"

Avatar followed, just a step ahead of Paladin. "Daw--Relic probably animates the dead...they're probably just zombies that follow his orders like a bunch of robots. I've been trying to figure out a better way to deal with them."

Avatar grew impatient waiting for his team to assemble. "We're gonna need Sergeant and Paladin to figure this thing out. I'd like to--hey, where are they, anyway? I saw Paladin just a moment ago..."

"I have been standing here in the corner behind you, Avatar. Forgive me for not taking a seat at the table. The anticipation and waiting was too much. My blade is eager to be tried against our foes once more. I know now that I could do better against those undead things he controls. They startled me before, but now I am ready for them and all I need is a few good swings. Likewise, Relic shall fall before me once I bring Excalibur to bear on him. I saw the fear in his eyes once and only the intervention of his minion saved him. I shall give him something more to fear, next time."
