[sblock=Psyren and Avatar]As Psyren and Avatar race through the house they see the large front doors are wide open, a gentle breeze flowing in. Sean Penn is standing there nursing a welt on his jaw, his wife telling him he should be more careful. Seeing the heroes he says, " There was a guy in a mask who flew into here with some of J-Pappy's art. I took a poke at him when he stopped to open the doors, but he still got away." [/sblock]

[sblock=Paladin]RD1aladin swings and lands a vicious blow on one of the Revenants. Effortlessly he spins and swings at another, but this time the zombie dodges his attack. The zombie behind him clubs him in the back with a hard blow, but his armor absorbs most of the damage. The revenant that he attacked ineptly misses him.

[sblock=Sergeant]Calling on his years of training, Sergeant manages to get the upper hand. He smashes the Revenant in the jaw with his elbow, then props his arm behind his back and applies the cuffs[/sblock]

OOC: I'm headed to Reno to shop and put twenty bucks on my St. Louis Cardinals to win the World Series so I thought I'd NPC Paladin to move the action along. I figured Paladin would continue his course of action. Hope that is alright.

[sblock=Psryen and Avatar]"Right. Thanks." Avatar tried to be polite, but it was all he could do to hide the dissapointment in his voice. Damn! He'd slipped right through their fingers again. What had happened to Sergeant and Paladin? Had he put them on ice or something like he'd done back at Lord Brixton's estate? Avatar thought it best to check on his associates.

"C'mon", he suggested to Psyren as he still peered out the door, trying to look as if he could still see his foe escaping. "We'd better check on the others." He started off for the treasure room again at a fast walk.[/sblock]

[Sblock=Paladin] Paladin swings at the most injured zombie. The blade slams through its arm causing it to drop. He moves onto the second and connects, but seems to do little damage. It retaliates, but the attack is weak and has little effect. While it attacks the other circles, and hits Paladin from behind on his helmed head. Stars flash before his eyes, but he quickly clears. Turning he thinks he sees the armless zombie dissapear. Maybe his head wasn't as clear as he thought.

He is out... it is what I feared. He got away with the tablet. Too late to catch him, let's go back to the display room, and see if Paladin needs our help, we will talk of taht after and with him." Sergeant turn around and start to run back from where he was coming and take his pistol out again.[/SBLOCK]
