[sblock=Avatar]"I said try it, see what it gets you."[/sblock]
Avatar tried to think a response back to Relic, just to see how deep his adversary could get into his mind. "I'm not going to destroy a piece of history just because you made a threat. You say it's an artifact that can't be destroyed, well, what happens when one priceless artifact strikes another? You still want to roll those dice?"

[sblock=Avatar] "I said TRY IT. You've got nothing. And you aren't getting the professors back when I try to destroy them Give it up and try again later. You're beaten.", Relic booms in his head.[/sblock]

Negotiations are complete

Relic's latest message made up Avatar's mind. He keyed his communicator. "Resolutes, this is Avatar. He's either supremely confident that we can't destroy the bowl, or willing to accept its loss as the resolution to his ploy. We don't know if that thing gives him the power to rule the world, or if destroying it removes the only real threat to his power. Either way, I don't want him dictating our actions. He's not going into the tomb, and we can't do any good just sitting here until he leaves. We can't give him what he wants, 'cause that means that anytime he wants us to do his bidding, all he has to do is grab a few hostages somewhere. He knows who we are and where we are, so there's no point to waiting for him to make a mistake. I say we go get our plane and fly this bowl back to where ever we want to go. And if he gets in the way of that, that's his tough luck.

Anyone opposed?"

OOC: Sorry, life sucks (And admittedly, I also got a Wii) and it will get worse next week.

[sblock=Psyren's plan]If it's possable, Psyren can perform a sensory link with Ritland, and once she sees the offending party, she can mind controll him since she can not sense him. However, I'm not sure if this is possable.

Otherwise, she'll assist in any plan that seems sound.[/sblock]

OOC: Been waiting to hear the players reaction to Avatar's plan. Also wouldn't mind hearing a little more exact plan of action. Following Bront's post in the general discussion thread is there anyone who wants to step up and NPC Psyren until Bront can get a little more regular with his posting?

OOC: I was holding a bit to hear what Psyren and Paladin think of that situation. I'll give another day to Paldin and after that, I'll tell what I think, but we havn't heard from Phoenix since some times.

OOC: SO sorry. Life got in the way. Ya know how it goes sometimes...

Paladin breaks his numb silence after thinking 'Again, we are unable to save the innocents it seems. '

Using Psyren to transmit his thoughts to all, Paladin thinks 'I cannot see giving him the bowl and trusting him to release the hostages. And if we did, we would have no way to track him and disrupt his plans before they come to fruition. I must agree with Avatar. We take the fight to them and do what we can. If need be, I can slip the bowl up beneath my breastplate to keep it safe and sound.'
