SX:3 From the Bowels of Philadelphia (Hero For Hire Judging)

"I agree, let's prepare ourselves and inspect the dead end. I'll bet ghost can walk down the corridor within the walls and determine very quickly what is down there, if anything."

While helping the others deal with their diving gear Aquaphibian will stay alert, looking and feeling (i.e. tremorsense) in all directions for threats.

Twilight Gryphon pulls off her scuba gear and diving suit, looking around the corridor, "I must admit, this is impressive. I am curious, too, as to how he built this complex to fast...he might have also found it, as far fetched as that sounds."

Ghost looks at the scale of the place and quips, "Awwww, compensating for something I bet..."

Ghost scouts the dead end and reports back, although given he has both x-ray vision and darkvision one woudl think he would already have a pretty good idea about the nearby layout of the place...

[sblock=Ghost] Ghost heads down the hall and finds a smaller corridor leading to an armored door. Peering past the door, it appears to lead to a lab[/sblock]

Presuming no activity in the lab the G-meister returns and says in his disembodied (he is still a hidin') voice, "Yo, nothing going on down that way. But, it is a lab, so there may be some clues as to whats up. Assuming we have the smarts to figure it out that is. . . I think I should check the other way too before we put our peeps on it, just in case."

If none disagree then do so.

"A lab? It seem that all mad scienist must always have a least a laboratory to perform their crazy invention..." Million Mask made with comment and waiting for Ghost finish with his snooping.

[sblock=GHOST]Ghost sees an immense open archway leading to what he assumes is a vehicle bay given the large vehicles parked inside[/sblock]

Intrepid paces the chamber, his head down, mumbling to himself. "I can't believe I forgot my cigarettes. Stupid, stupid..."

"A lab? It seem that all mad scienist must always have a least a laboratory to perform their crazy invention," Million Mask says.

Intrepid stops pacing and, grinning, looks over at Million Masks. "Yes, but it seems our Mad Scientist is missing out," he says. "There'll be no maniacal cackling punctuated with crashes of thunder... loses some of the melodrama inherent in the Mad Scientist genre, if you ask me."

His gaze moves over the others, then he says, "Sorry," and goes back to his mumble-laden pacing. "I can't believe I forgot my cigarettes."

Ghost slides on back and comments, "Awww man. That sucks. But, on a more pertanent note. The other way leads to a garage full of huge strange vehicles. My vote? The labaroo. I can just picture all those vehicles activating an attacking, like out of a bad sci-fi flick..."
