Don't let Ghost hold things up. He is pretty happy to try whatever. Even if the team wants him to try to TK the walls/door down. ;-)

Ghost is unable to find anything obvious to open the door. Cursory attempts to open the door are fruitless. It seems like he's struck out. He reports back, "I can't get the door open, what do you want to do next?"

OOC: As Christmas approaches I'll be headed for vacation from December 18th-January 1st. Posting will be sporadic to non-existant.

"What about the escape pod back there? This may sound silly but perhaps he has an opening mechanism installed in it similar to a garage door opener...though we wouldn't know what buttons to press."

"Well, if the escape pod doesn't pan out let's head to the hangar and try to get through those big doors. Ghost-man, you're on point again, try to see if you can open the doors from the inside."

OOC: I was thinking Aquaphip was 20ft from the dead end, waiting for Ghost. We all head back to the escape pod to check it out.

"Hey, hold up a sec," says Intrepid, trying to get everyone's attention. "This is like one big toy box. Ghost said a Key Card was needed to get in, but what if once you're through that door you're 'approved', so to speak?"

Intrepid looks around at the others, then looks back at the door. "Maybe just approaching the door will open it."

OOC:sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've been really sick.

"Well, it's worth a try. Stand back." Aquaphibian walks forward to the "hidden" door and if it does not open he feels along the surface of the wall.

OOC: if it is needed: Notice check, hidden lab door (1d20+1=9)

Aquaphibian approaches the door, coming to a another hallway. This is what made it appear hidden as they peered down the straight hallway. He walks to within three feet of the door and [sblock=what happened to A-phib] Nothing happens! He tries to mess with the door, but is unable to open it. He can't help but think this would be child's play for CPU or Highbrow.[/sblock]


[sblock=When they try to search the pod]The heroes find the pod to be powered, with a button labeled "Locks" still flipped in the upward position. This kind of sloppiness might reveal how they were able to get in so easily.[/sblock]

"Ok, let me try it out." Million Mask said as he took a moment to take apperance of Dr Null. He slowly approced the entrance to see if the door will open.
