T1: A Visit to Spelding Square [Completed]

OOC: An FYI for all . . .

Our DM, Mr. Trouvere, has been having log in troubles gettin onto ENWorld for the last two days (as have I) and was able to E-mail me to let us know that he will be AFK for a week. I hope that every one else is doing ok on the log in issue.
OOC: Had some trouble for a couple of hours yesterday but it seems all right now. :)

I thought ENWorld was down for about 12-18 hours? Shortly after I made my last post Friday evening I was getting "site maintenance" messages. The message said "hopefully only a few hours", but I was still getting them the following morning. Not sure exactly how long it lasted, but later yesterday I was able to log on.

OOC: Orsal's ordeal sounded like what i nd another En-ite here in the ccity i live in were havieing very similar problems.

An aside: We still need a judge for this adventure? How can we still be going on?

Midias

Midias quietly follows the others, his hands shielding his purse. He doesn't yetknows any magic he could cast in advance...

Pendrake moves up past Ngikhnit's shoulder, forming a three man cordon beyond the alleyway. All remains silent.[sblock=Maps][sblock=Midias,Peladus,Pendrake]

The group head deeper into the Square, approaching the nearest market stall. Its front flap is rolled right down and tied off with leather cords at the bottom.

Quozen moves a little way ahead, skirting the stall.[sblock=Midias, Peladus, Pendrake]The monk stops near the edge of Peladus' circle of light. Just a few feet beyond him, the shadows swallow up all view of the Square, though with his keen elven vision, he can see further than you.[/sblock][sblock=Ngikhnit, Quozen]Another market stall comes into view in the north of the Square, red and green canvas like the others.[sblock=Quozen]Peladus' light is blocked by the market stall, creating an abrupt transition between the bright light in which you stand and total darkness impenetrable even to elven eyes just a few feet to the east.[/sblock][/sblock][sblock=Maps][sblock=Midias,Peladus,Pendrake]

There is nothing out of the ordinary to be seen or heard. Even so, the halfling woman seemed certain there was something in Spelding Square. Beyond the reach of Peladus' magelight, darkness hides everything.

OOG: anyone?

Peladus says quietly, pitching his voices to the ears of his companions, "Let's check the centre of the square, then work our way around the sides."

OOC: Search the square until we find something.
