[sblock=OOG]
I remember that slashing weapons turned them into amoebas, and the bludgeoning worked, but didn't recall ever learning if piercing worked on them. But Ngikhnit has had less time to forget than I, so...
OOG: I don't remember whether Quozen ever struck hard with his rapier to show the result of pure piercing damage, but Pendrake caused a creature to split with a bludgeoning/piercing morning star attack in Round 10, and Gillin did the same in Round 15. Everyone was clustered around for the Round 10 event at least - it was just before Peladus struck the new arrival with a magic missile, causing it to streak off into the alleyway and hence this shed.

Maybe this party splitting, line of sight with darkness beyond, stuff in sblocks thing was a bad idea. Too late now! :p
[/sblock][sblock=Midias]Ngikhnit hops from his sailcloth bed, immense arms bringing his flail up in readiness, and swings - but what he strikes at is out of view. This vantage point at the top of the ladder provides a somewhat limited view through the hole in the roof.

OOG: and of course there is a view below to Peladus and Gillin working on the shed doors just to Midias's east.[/sblock][sblock=Ngikhnit, Pendrake, Quozen]Ngikhnit hops from his sailcloth bed into a clear space next to the rowboat, and swings his flail through empty air to the left of the post.

Pendrake's net creaks ominously as he struggles in it.

OOG: white dot marks a square 5 feet off the ground that Ngikhnit attacked; possibly empty - or possibly the 50% miss chance applied.[/sblock]OOG: Midias (last heard of talking of loading a crossbow at the top of the ladder)...?
Then Quozen at the top of what I shall arbitrarily call Round 42...

Midias

Midias stays in his elevated position. If the others succeed in opening the door, he will watch the opening. He wants to be sure the thing will not come far, if it decides to flee this way.

[sblock=OOC]

low level and out of spells. Will keep perched.

[sblock=Ngikhnit, Pendrake, Quozen]The shed is littered with detritus, much of which could be thrown but might be too light to have any effect. There are stacks of new roof shingles, broken crates and other wooden junk, long pieces of timber, coils of rope, a wooden chest, a boat with 10 foot oars, and a pile of folded sailcloth.

OOG: specific actions for Quozen?[/sblock]

[sblock=Ngikhnit, Pendrake, Quozen]Quozen grabs the nearest oar, but it proves initially unwieldy to get to grips with.

insideshed4.png

OOG: an oar counts as a two handed improvised weapon with 10 ft reach that does 1d6, x2 bludgeoning; Quozen would have had to drop the sunrod to make the attack. With that roll, it missed for sure.[/sblock]OOG: Pendrake...

Pendrake...
... will try an act of acrobatic ridicuality. He will try and wrap his legs around the pole, tear himself free, and use the pole to keep from taking falling damage.
I will let you decide if he can do that, and what roll to make. It will be an interesting thing to watch, regardless.
