Talislanta to D20 conversion?

Hey People,
Any one know if there are plans to convert the Talislanta system to a D20 format?
Talislanta is a personal favorite of mine and it is impossible to find the new 4th edition rule book. I would love to convert the races into a D&D type format and post them later for all to use.
(look for it in a week in the house rules forum)

I have the new 4th Edition, and it is beautiful.

It is a shame it is so hard to find.

It is very similar to D20 in some ways.

The magick system is a perfect "variable" system that we have ported over to D20 to have other options.

Thanks Bill. I have been to that site and while I like it, I think the races I saw could have been done beter.

But that's my own opinion.

I just hope I can find a copy of the 4ed. Talislanta is just the best.
I was running a game a few yearts ago as a backup game for a group of friends and would like to do so again.

I said so on the General Board already, but it bears repeating: d20 Talislanta would be by far my favorite d20 product. But I suspect Sechi is so anti-d20 that he'd never agree to it.

I love Tal, and if people looked closely, they might accuse me of mild plagiarism from time to time. It's such a great mine of ideas, I find it hard not to draw from it at elast sometimes.

Yea, I totally have to agree here. Im a huge Talislanta fan despite only having 1st and 2nd editions. I really want to see the innovations on the system in the new editions. But MAN I really rip this game off for alot of ideas. But thats the beauty of gaming; as long as you dont publish it, you can use any idea.

I have been to that d20 site a few times. I like it, but the going is so slow and I also dont really like some of the race conversions. I would totally dig an official d20 Talislanta!! Oh man, I think that might even get me to quit my Kingdoms of Kalamar addictions (well, maybe not).

You can say that again. I am on the Talislanta group and all they are discusing at the moment is how much many of them HATE D20 games. I'm ready to quit the group.
