Dutch - which means you come from Holland, but its known as the Netherlands.... could someone explain that one to me again? Why not Hollanders (nice Battlemech), or Netherlanders (bit of a mouth full)? Personally I think Netherish would do.

Hey Morb mate! :)

Sob, sob ... everyone in the UK thinks I'm American. Let that be a lesson to all you young'uns spend 2 days in Disneyland when you're 9 and suddenly the world thinks you're American. Right, that's it! All conversations will now start with 'Maaaaaaate, how's it goin?' If I can work 'Struth' and references to crocodile wrestling into the conversation no one will ever doubt my heritage again! .... Or perhaps I just need to play a half-orc with a big hefty sword, so whenever someone pulls out a weapon I can say 'That's not a knife .....'

:D

I thought all the girls in Australia were called Shiela...but what do I know. :p

Its you brits:
You call the language "dutch"
and the country "the Netherlands".
The country is also called "holland" by people that dont realize that holland is only a small part of the netherlands (only two of the netherlandish provinces instead off all seven)

In Dutch its easy:
the country is called: "Nederland" or "het koninkrijk der Nederlanden" (the kindom of the netherlands)
and the language is called "nederlands".
Two of the provinces are called Holland: "Noord-Holland" (northern holland) and "Zuid-Holland"(Southern Holland).

Ah so its a bit like when the Americans think England is the same as Great Britain which is the same as the UK, which it isn't of course. Thanks for the explanation.

Still prefer Netherish

"That's not a knife..."

"No, it's not. It's a +5 Vorpal Keen Greatsword. What?"

Excuse me but I thought you were from Australia or New Zealand. I can never tell the two appart, that's the accents not the countries. New Zealand is like Wales with good weather.
Australia is where Britain grows its female popstars. The difference between the countries is obvious.

The only difficulty we have here in Britain is when people like hong claim to be from Austria, and then clarifies it by saying it's that small country next to New Zealand...

Any, you have the Big Scythe Death Attack going for you now, Morbidity, (see Hivemind thread) so I'll agree to pretty much anything you say! :D
