"You're a pretty girl, aren't you Ligeia?" Lasair asked the bird, gently stroking Ligeia's feathers along the back of her neck in an attempt to make friends with the colourful familiar.

Vanitri peers curiously at Lasair, "You keep your little sister in a crystal?" Vanitri looks over at Rosalynn and says "How'd you like that if I did that to you lil'sis?"

"Realy? Did you rub her with too much lotion of something?" Vanitri asks, perplexed by what he is being told. "I mean, you've talked of your older sister's breasts, so I can only assume she's not a crystal, so how is your younger sister one?"

Vanitri peers at the crystal looking to see if it has little crystal breasts, as they seem to be important in Lasairs culture.

"No, she's my soul-sister, not my first-sister or my second-sister or my third-sister like Meliana. Alyria does not have a mother like a person, but the two of us are soulmates and thus she is my soul-sister."

"Yes," Lasair nods, "Very much so, though in my case I do know how we are related, through our mothers, where you have said that you are not sure of your relation to your brothers and sisters, but of course that does not mean that I would think you and your family to be any less real and loving than ours."

Ligeia? Beware.

That sounds perfect, Ligeia rubbing Ligeias neck causing all her feathers to fluff up Perfect

This completes my first steps as a wizard and strengthen my connection with the powers I tap into Elise say reflectivly

Looks like I won't be needing these anymore, She takes off her glasses and sets them in her pocket. then she sits at the table and sighs happily

"Ligeia you say? Ligeia?

In my part of the world, that name is not spoken of lightly, being one of the dark four: Ligeia, Eleonora, Berenice, and Morella. The four dark sisters, as they are known, equally beautiful, although their beauty did neither them nor the men who admired them any good. All of them had tragic, early ends; although, again, for all of them, death was but a prologue, so powerful were their wills that they escaped death's grasp, each in her own way, and crawled back into the land of the living, as shades, spectres, inhabitors of another's soul... even displacing a former husband's new love (and new wife)... again, it isn't something that I feel comfortable speaking about...

Ligeia you say? So be it. But be forewarned: it is a dark name you give to your bird, which might as well be a raven in truth: aye, verily, a raven."

[Sunny speaks seriously, and broodingly. Outside, a sudden thunderburst pours rain onto the rooftops, and thunder rumbles through the bar. Lightining flickers high in the sky...]

Funny that you mention that, I used the basic raven summoning ritual to call her. Elise says, voice getting quieter Well, that may well be, but I like the name, We like the name. So it sticks.
Ligeia nods
And I for one, am happy that ligeia came to me. If you can't be happy for me then Bah to you and your Damn onimus storm
