[Tavern Thread] The Dunn Wright Inn

Marla the Barmaid
The barmaid looks at the dancing flame with curiosity, only to frown as she realizes what is happening. Shooting an angry glare at Heinrich, she pronounces, "Keep playing with fire, mage, and some day you'll get burned." She turns on heel and marches back to the kitchen.

Eanos Setirav, human inquistor

A tanned, ginger man in greens and browns enters the inn, his features partially obscured by his hood. He moves off to a table in the shadows, and quietly orders a meal and drink from Marla. He seems content for now to watch those patrons around, his green eyes assessing them against some measure only he seems to know.

Heinrich, Fire mage with hair the color of flames

The young human walks in the door after dealing with his new purchases he returns with an appetite for Zitteroux's cooking.

"Marla, I would like some of the daily special und vine bitta."

He then sits in a seat near the fireplace. He stretches and yawns, the flames behind him act as a living puppet of flame.

Tyrien had finished her shopping and was dressing in her typically colorful flamboyance when in Venza. Her new armor was thin enough to be worn under her clothes and hardly noticeable. She still carried her bow wherever she went and wore the jingasa that did not appear to match. Her boots were new and not the soft leather that helped her move quietly.

She spotted the red-headed archer, ordered a carafe of wine and joined him at his table, “Hi ho, Eanos. Did you have a pleasant time shopping now that we have been back? I bought some new clothes and boots.”

"Tyrien, Eanos! Guten tag!" hails Heinrich from his seat near the fireplace. The cheerful flames mimic him as he raises his cup in toast to the two.

Eanos raises his glass to Heinrich across the way and gives the boisterous fire mage a friendly smile.

On the subject of shopping, the chosen of Issolatha shrugs.

"Think I've found a few choice items," he offers. He taps a pair of violet-lensed goggles that now hang around his neck.

"These will let me see in the dark," he says, then holds up his hand where a nondescript ring now sits. "And this will quiet my footsteps, and does a little fiddling with the way I look when I want. Seemed a compact option.

"Added a few upgrades to my protection and a bit of spring to my step, as well,"
he offers, shrugging to indicate his cloak and gesturing vaguely to his belt. Neither look especially different from what he had before to the mundane eye, though the archer appears to be satisfied that they're better than whatever he had previously.

Charity, Human Female
Watching more people enter the Inn, Charity notices Tyrien. "Oh, Tyrien, nice to see you, again. Hunh, got some new things? I trust that infers a bit of success, then. That's good." Her eyes walk up and down Eanos and Heinrich, in turn.

Heinrich sees Charity, stops eating, stands and bows. He returns to eating at the fire side, the flames forming to his likeness and miming his movements.. Though it does look like it is laughing when it bows, the crackling of the flames almost sounds like chuckles.
